「This place is great and also close everything in hatteras. It's a very layed back and chill place. This was probably our 6th time staying here in the last 4 years. We stayed in a cabin because of the bathroom. It's spacious enough for my wife and I, and we always bring our chocolate lab. We usually stay in the spring and fall. Everytime but once we've arrived early (not extremely early) and they've usually never had an issue with going on ahead and checking us in. There was a bad Nor'easter that...

The place was nice, clean and equipped with all lines needed. Also had Charcoal and lighter fluid. AC worked great (Can be a little loud) . Things to note- if bringing your dog, they are not allowed on the beach between 9-5, cannot go to the pool area and are not allowed to be left alone at the camp site -so it’s difficult to do much during the day unless you’re planning to stay at the campsite only.
