We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and listening to the nearby creek. Enjoyed walking to restaurants and around downtown without needing our car. Also enjoyed driving to nearby waterfalls and hiking."

"Quaint little Inn just outside Highlands downtown aptly named the Outpost. The Inn features nicely decorated , comfortable rooms and laid back ambiance. We enjoyed the outside firepit and the lobby living room area which were great places to relax after a day of hiking and site seeing. The staff was accommodating and responsive and I would go back "

But the real star of the show? The restaurant! It's hands down the best part, serving up delicious meals in a cozy setting. "Cute little rental neighborhood with several modular home cottages. You can hear buck creek but you can't see it. Very quiet especially because we were the only people there. Close to downtown Highlands. Small but homey and clean. Hot tub was already on and waiting for us."
