"No amnesties we were at garden level but actually parking lot / basement kinda strange !!"

"Great location - although lots of stairs if that's an issue. The property is beautiful and within easy walking distance to downtown Highlands. The lobby and bar looked really nice, and we were looking forward to coming back from dinner and grabbing a cocktail, and just hanging out, but were told at 730pm that there was a private party and that those areas were closed off to guests. I don't think I have ever heard of closing the lobby to guests - pretty disappointing."

"Pretty rustic lodgings. If you have a problem with musty old rooms, do not stay here. I had a headache within an hour and tried to change rooms, but all the rooms were the same damp smell. They even have dehumidifier machines in each room to try and mitigate the problem. I didn’t think this was worth the $$! The restaurant, however, was absolutely great. So much better than the inn in town. Literally everything on the menu was top notch."

"The hotel was 5 star all the way. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The manager was visible and offered dining, excursion and shopping suggestions. All excellent recommendations. Our suite was large yet had a cozy feel. Everything was immaculate. The breakfast was excellent from fresh berry compote to specialty pastries to imported coffee. A beverage bar was available 24/7. Breakfast out in the courtyard was quiet and lovely. The location was perfect for walking around town. We has a wonderful stay and will return again."

"We enjoyed the cottage very much! Everything we needed in the kitchen was available. We enjoyed the firepit and the fireplace! The location was wonderful for the area! The only recommendation would be to replace the couch and chairs inside as they are very uncomfortable. We brought in 2 chairs from the table on the screened in porch to use during our stay so it worked out OK! Would highly recommend and we would definitely return!"
