"I love the Grant Street Inn It is charming, authentic, unique and immaculately kept. Every detail feels so well thought out, the staff are truly welcoming. My room has very high ceilings, a four-poster bed with an abundance of charming pillows set in a bay of tall windows, a door opening out to the porch set with rockers looking out over the flower beds. "When you take a Mimi vacation from New York City and look for a quiet place to stay the night this was definitely that. There is nobody screaming in the halls, people arguing in this rooms or any kind of shenanigans. It’s peaceful and quiet and very secure. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good deal with a 5 star vibe. The inky thing that sucks is the parking lot is very small so you may have to park on the street."

"We loved staying at the Salem Inn! The room was unique and beautiful and it is in a great central location (basically right across from the Witch House). The only downside was that there was no elevator and our room was on the third floor, but they do have a dumbwaiter to bring your luggage up for you. We had an excellent breakfast included as well. Would definitely stay there again. "

The check in was easy and the employee was helpful in every sort. The room and bed were a pleasant upgrade from where I had been staying. After work walks with my dog in the stunning neighborhood was a highlight. I highly suggest doing that. "

"Irving House is fairly conveniently located for access to Harvard Square/Cambridge. The single occupancy room was tiny but had everything I needed. The shared bathrooms were very clean and there were enough to avoid any waits. The building is a bit old and creaky, but overall comfortable and quiet. If you need the latest in mod cons, this probably isn't the place, but I enjoyed the old-school rooming house ambiance as well as the low price."
