"Absolutely the best hotel in DC. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was the best, friendly, helpful, caring and supportive. Breakfast was the best especially the made to order omelets. The two free drinks every night was really awesome. Absolutely the best hotel in all of DC. "

"The Riggs is a beautiful old bank building, with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. They make great cocktails too!
The Riggs is in a great location too - all the main sites are walkable - the Mall is only a few minutes away from where you can see all the main sights including the Capitol and Washington Monument.
If you need to go further afield, the Metro is very efficient and cheap, with a station not far from the hotel. In all an ideal location to explore Washington DC"
With one of the world’s largest and most extensive collections of U.S. art, this museum summarizes the American experience from a variety of viewpoints.
