"We had a very relaxing family holiday here. There were hardly any other guests when we stayed, and it was almost like having a private resort. The restaurant staff made us two lovely dinners and breakfasts, the first dinner was an intricate kaiseki spread, and the second was delicious grilled steak. Breakfast had plenty of options for both Japanese and Western style meals.

"Great service by staff "

"This was a jumping off point for us as we visited Nikko National Forest. The property was clean and the staff very helpful. Would stay here again."

"The photos aren’t representative of the property. We were excited to stay at a full-experience Onsen and expecting amenities such as cold baths, saunas, and multiple hot baths — this is not the case. Rather, the pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos, there are only two hot baths, and nothing else. On the positive side, the rooms were spacious and clean. If you’re in or around this area, opt for a day Onsen and less expensive hotel for a better value."
