"Looks like it was once a grand plush hotel, room dated but large and clean and the bathroom looked recently refurbed, got a triple room for same as a double which turned out to be a bonus as we had seperate bedrooms,close to station and bars, cracking stay for a game at anfield."

"Didn't use the bars this time, have done in the past but all looked good. Breakfast was good choice and hot. Attentive staff, friendly too. Reception staff excellent. "

"I would not recommend this property as it is poorly maintained. The first room I was given had a door that did not lock. The hotel has a strange layout and if you want to go higher than the first floor you have to take two separate lifts. The good thing about this hotel is the location, it is very central and close to Moorfields station. However, there is much that could be improved."
