We booked a superior room which was clean, spacious and had a fabulous view of the docks. Excellent price too. Location was perfect for both the docks and the city centre shops. bars and restaurants. Would definitely book again.

Very comfortable hotel and an excellent breakfast in a room with view. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good public spaces but I was only there for a night so didn't have time to use them. My one criticism is the beige dreariness of the rooms. The headboards recall Merseybeat, so why not have a couple of frames posters or photos - those in the public areas are lovely. Make it warmer and more welcoming! Beige on a dreary day we very offputting.
