Coast Bastion Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Expensive but good value. Great location. Only issue is parking. It is not underneath the building as stated on website. It is around the corner and down a hill to a "parkaid" run by the sity and open to all. The instructions as to placing one's car in any "blank spot" therein and not taking a ticket were not cleear. Then one has to drag one's wheelie up the hill and cross the road at traffic lights - I am 83 and not as flexible not mobile as I used to be. Good breakfast."

"The staff were super friendly and helpful. They accommodated an early check in and late check out. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had quite a few options for a continental breakfast, though the seating area is quite small. One evening when I returned my door was unlocked, presumably left open by the cleaning staff, but nothing was missing, so seems like a pretty safe spot."

Comfy with all of the typical amenities we are used to, with that unique touch that is absent when staying at a corporate chain motel."

"We had to book this last minute and the gentleman who checked us in said as soon as helpful. Forgot his name but believe he was East Indian. Our room was spacious and breakfast was yummy with many selections, including scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, etc. great stay"

"Fynn the manager went above and beyond to help us get situated and upgrade our room for no extra cost. The property was nice - very modern and obviously recent. My only minor complaint is their style choice to focus on appearance over functionality, but some people like that so not a real issue. I would stay there again."
