「I was looking for a place for me and my 70 dog, Monkee, that was centrally located for some sightseeing in Monterey and Salinas, and I found it! Nestled between pine trees, Longhorn Steer (yes, you read that right), and lush greenery is a beautiful oasis. The place was clean, well-stocked and the large bed was comfy. Irene and Gary are wonderful hosts! I plan on sharing this secret hideaway with some friends of mine that are planning trips up the California coast. I will definitely stay here...

「We loved the space - the owners definitely made the most out of a very small space. The apartment is beautiful, well stocked with everything you need for a stay, and right by the beach. The only issue we had was that it was a little crowded - and bathrooms were tiny. Might be difficult for someone tall or wide to navigate.」

「We had a wonderful time. The unit is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The photos are a little generous in terms of the space. There are some low ceilings and the layout is a little different than how the photos present, but you won't be disappointed. It's a great spot.」

「Cute one bedroom place. Location was excellent. Since it was back from the street, it was quiet. It was nice to have an enclosed backyard given we had dogs. The yard was not well tended. They did have a Weber BBQ but the charcoal holder was unusable and needed replacement. Overall, the place was clean and had a great location. We would return.」

「I come to Capitola often and this was my first stay here The apartment is so cozy and tucked away a couple blocks off the main streets so relatively quiet. The small kitchenette was well appointed for a short stay and had all the essentials. Foot traffic in the upstairs unit is quite loud (primarily due to hardwood floors) but I was otherwise to have respectful neighbors in regards to additional noise. Overall a very cute comfortable place to stay for an adult weekend getaway.」
