10/10 Excellent

"this was an excellent place to stay. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was good. I particularly liked Jose the bartender, and we enjoyed a drink in the hand of cards practically every night in a very comfortable lounge with Jose making the drinks. We also really enjoyed the tours at the hotel sponsors. Mario, our tour guide, was excellent. "

"We had a wonderful stay at **Hotel Artorius in Rome**. The location is perfect—right in the charming Monti district and within walking distance of many major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, cafes, and small shops, which made exploring the city very easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Our room was well maintained, and the bed was comfortable after long days of walking around Rome. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to give recommendations or assist with anything we needed. Overall, it felt like a cozy and welcoming place to stay in the heart of Rome. I would definitely recommend Hotel Artorius to anyone visiting the city and would happily stay here again! "

Trevi Palace Hotel

"The rooms were nice for the price point. The beds were small twins which wasn’t great for adults but the room and bathrooms were a good size for Europe. The breakfast (extra cost) offered a good variety of food and the fresh squeezed orange food was a highlight. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of the hotel was the location, with so much of Rome within a mile and a fairly easy walk. There was also a Taxi stand around the corner. This would have been a great hotel for my 30-year-old body but I find that my 55-year-old body needs more a supportive bed, particularly when walking 6-8 miles each day! "

"When chatting to staff online they were extremely helpful. However our experience inhouse was a bit odd. we sat near the fountain and ate a sandwhich when a member of staff approached us and said we could not bring outside food in. the house rules are odd and restrictive - not sure what we are paying for other than a bed? also costs to store your baggage after check out. i had booked three private rooms and request for them to be near each other but it wasn't the case. additionally at night it so loud and noisey from the bar it was hard to fall asleep. wouldn't recommend it for families"
