"We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the

treatments, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that...

"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

"We enjoyed this quirky (lots of steps) but delightful rental. All the bedrooms with ensuite baths ensured privacy for everyone. The small kitchen was very well outfitted and we enjoyed cooking dinners there with wonderful indoor and outdoor eating options. The pool was refreshing with lovely views. The managers were attentive to our every need and very friendly and accessible. I would definitely come again!"

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a

stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."
