It was in a beautiful setting, with views of the river. A little mold in bathtub and drain didn’t plug so could not use the jacuzzi tub.
Breakfast was good but a little pricey. Staff was friendly and helpful.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were fantastic. Lapo, at the front desk, was extremely helpful in making last minute arrangements for anything we needed. The entire staff from the porters, bar tenders, cleaning staff and managers were friendly and accommodating. The property was picturesque and absolutely stunning. We wish we would have stayed more days just to enjoy the property itself. If you're having an afternoon drink on the patio bar or enjoying a scrumptious evening meal in the restaurant you will not be disappointed.
Lovely hotel, bit out in the sticks but great for a peaceful retreat.
Problems entering the room wasn’t dealt with terribly well but eventually we sorted it.
We had a steep winding staircase in our room, whilst very pretty, at 83 with an injured leg would have been useful to know in advance.
Also no plug sockets at all on the bed level so the alarm had to be set downstairs … and turned off via the rather steep stairs.
Lovely place.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
It is a very quiet hotel. The spa was wonderful. The Bar is overpriced
For food. The staff is wonderful.
Brilliant hotel- it has a great breakfast and the amenities were first class. Only slight downside is it’s a little further out of town but you know this when booking- they also have a shuttle bus!
Sylvia was amazing and very helpful. Night staff helped us with a quick bite after the kitchen closed due to late arrival. Very unique and intimate setting.
Such a lovely property!
The grounds are beautiful and having a pool to use after a hot day of walking around is wonderful. We found our dinner in the restaurant to be excellent!
Good breakfast buffet!
The only slight downside is if you want to go into Florence every day, while they do offer a shuttle, it stops quite a walk from the centre of town and the schedule isn’t always convenient so we needed up taking taxis a lot which added up financially. Still worth the area and the hotel but be aware of location.
We loved it!
This hotel was incredible, I can’t wait to go back again! The staff is incredible, the property is so beautiful. It’s one of my favorite hotels I have stayed at so far. Words can’t do justice of how beautiful it is!
Loved our stay! The entire property is so beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Do the breakfast buffet—best I’ve ever seen and so worth it before you take the shuttle (EUR 2.50 pp) into the city to explore.
I loved everything about this hotel. The property, the staff, the view, the room. I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed 7 nights to attend my daughter's wedding. The room was adorable, clean, comfortable, and had a view to die for. The bathroom was very spacious. The property is spectacular with flowers everywhere, clean, well maintained, and peaceful. We ventured out for wedding activities and a bit of shopping but stayed at the hotel most of the trip because it was so enjoyable. We had massages, excellent. We played cards on the patio at the bar, excellent service. The front desk assisted us every day with taxis, water, a fan, toiletries if we missed housecleaning. Whatever we requested, they accommodated; superb customer service. I worked with them from the States before our arrival and they arranged for a car to greet us at the airport and bring us to the hotel upon arrival. My daughter tried to talk us into changing to another hotel closer to City Center and I am so thankful that we did not. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mulino di Firenze.
