"It's located in a part of SF with homeless people everywhere. We didn't realize there are not bathrooms in the room...This is a hostel more than a hotel. "The hotel itself seems a little older but it has updated their rooms. The bed was very comfortable. Nice strong shower. And everything was very clean. The main issue I had was the front desk. The line was a bit long, which I get, it was after 3 and check in time, I didn’t mind waiting. Maybe the front desk personal was just having a long day but she did not seem like she wanted to be there. Not saying she had to be overly friendly, but maybe something more than just a few words and going through the motions. Or smile would have been nice. "

"On the first day when we arrived, they gave us a room, but when we went upstairs the room had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk and they gave us another room. We moved into the new room and later that night, around 11 PM, someone started banging very hard on our door and then ran away. We opened the door but no one was there."
