「It worked for us while we were at the US Open. We were gone ever day, and some days didn’t get back till late. We ate a few meals in the apartment, and had enough kitchen accoutrements to handle our meal. The shower worked well and we had enough towels, although they were old. Our bed and pillows and bed linens worked well for us. The AC worked well, although it wasn’t a hot week. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. There were plenty of restaurants, grocery stores etc. nearby. This is...

「The host was extremely attentive to any questions or needs. Excellent and immediate communication. Good, quiet location between Islip airport and Port Jefferson. The size of the unit was very adequate for two people. Bathroom was clean and adequately stocked with towels and wash cloths. The reason for 2 stars is we thought the apartment was not very clean from floor to ceiling. This apartment has huge potential to be very cute. In my option, it needs an entire over haul.」

「The property was convenient for what we needed. The neighborhood was nice and we felt safe during our stay! The property is located in the basement of the host’s house so you can hear them walking above and their dog barking throughout the evening/night. Also, I found that the bedroom, kitchen, and living room were clean - but the bathroom was not. Nothing we couldn’t live with for a couple days, but just something to consider! There is a window AC in the bedroom and you are in a basement so the...

「This place is lovely. Clean, pretty, obviously loved and cared for by the owner. The bedding and towels are luxury quality and there are so many towels, pillows, blankets. So many dishes, pots, utensils , even a water dispenser. Entertainment inside and out. Large TVs, books, games, fire pit. The landscaping is like going to a small botanical garden. I didn't have a chance to go to the private beach. The owner was a pleasure to interact with.」
