"We really enjoyed our stay at Elea Apartments. The owners were always available and very helpful and gave us some great advice on restaurants in Chania. The location is excellent and very close to 4 lovely beaches and some very nice restaurants. The fact that it's so close to Chania was a real bonus which we made the most of. "The beach was nice and staff were very good. The room was not worth the $1400 we paid. The outlets for phone did not work. The room phones needed to be fixed twice. No hot water on 2 out of the 3 days for shower. First day we had to run the water for 10 mins before hot water came for shower Having a bedroom upstairs and shower downstairs was so inconvenient. The stairs were not clean. The plunge pool was not warm but cold. I would never stay here or recommend this to anyone. It is not Marriott luxury at all. Very disappointed with the room. Felt cheated in a sub standard room for the price."
