「This home was marvelous. Very well appointed with more amenities than we had time to use. Great location with easy access to Kyoto bus and train. The host made everything easy and provided information well ahead of time. We highly recommend this property.」

「In all caps? DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. You cannot contact the host and, at least for us, they never provided an access code. We ended up on the street with our luggage for hours while the excellent support staff at Expedia helped us sort it out and booked us another place to stay. The people who lived locally said this was not the first time it had happened either and other families had gone through the same thing. (One very nice local family invited us into their home to get us off the street;...

「We had a wonderful stay in Kyoto. I wanted an authentic experience and that was exactly what we got. The home was beautiful and close to restaurants, cafes and grocery stores. Uber is so convenient in Kyoto that we were able to get everywhere quickly. The home had everything we needed, but not everything we were used to (coming from the USA), but that was exactly what I wanted my 13 year old son to experience.」

「We had a lovely time in Kyoto and at this house. It was fun to be in a Japanese home with such beautiful details, woodwork, different spaces to gather, and a garden. We appreciated the coffee that was provided too!」

「The house was perfect for five people traveling together. The laundry was especially helpful as this was our 7th day of our two week stay in Japan. Based on the convenient location, we were able to quickly access all the transportation, shopping and dining we wanted. An additional perk based on the timing of our stay was the ability to watch the World Cup soccer matches together in the living room/dining space.」

「An amazing place if you want to experience a more traditional house in Kyoto, instead of sleeping at an hotel. Has everything you need from kitchen to a traditional futon. Would love to come back again. The bus is really close and the subway is not far from the house either. So easy to get around town.」

「The property was neat and clean and once all the elements needed for self check in were complete, check in was no problem and we were given an early check in. The decor was lovely and it was nice to have the extra space. The neighborhood was cute and quiet with lots of hidden coffee and bakeries tucked away. We had fantastic donuts about a 10 minute walk away and the coffee shop next door was fantastic! We reserved the place for 3 night with 4 guests, 3 adults and a nearly adult teenager. We...
