"Could not be happier about my 2 days stay at Rakucho ryokan. The room was perfect: clean, quiet, the futon super confortable and the showers/toilets clean and surprisingly quite modern. "This hotel was great! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling to Kyoto. It was a 5 minute walk from the train station and there was a bus stop directly across the street. Furthermore, the staff were incredible and the hotel was always clean. It felt amazing coming back to the hotel after a long day sightseeing or shopping. The entry way smelled great and the complimentary drinks were a nice perk. "
