"Our stay at Kamogawa House was nothing short of wonderful. This beautifully designed home blends modern comforts with traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating a serene retreat in Kyoto.With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the layout was perfect for our family. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were especially helpful as my mother-in-law had injured her foot and couldn’t use the stairs. Upstairs, the shower and bath experience was truly divine—exactly what we needed after long days...

"Lovely house and a communicative host. Quiet residential neighbourhood on a hill at the base of a shrine. Convenient access to Eastern Kyoto but a 20 minute walk to the train station. "

"Stayed here with friends to visit Kyoto. Is a beautiful house and great area for seeing shrines. Definitely in a bit of an uphill neighborhood though, so ordering Ubers can be challenging. Otherwise recommend for any travelers! "
