I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Keihan Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from Kyoto Station, making it easy to get around the city and explore nearby sights. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and all the little details—like the in-room air purifier, amenities, and thoughtful design—made it feel welcoming and relaxing. One of my favorite features was the large public bath, which was such a refreshing way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. The staff were outstanding—always polite, helpful, and attentive. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. It offers excellent comfort, great facilities, and unbeatable convenience. I would happily stay here again!

Good distance from station. Has a laundry. Onsen is very popular. A fairly Japanese style breakfast but varied and does have a selection of more wester items. If you choose the eco clean they provide clean towels, remove trash and leave a bottle of water for each guest.

Good Location…But…..

This property was nice, close to the station. It would’ve been a lot better if there weren’t screaming kids late at night and early morning. Running up and down the hallway. This wasn’t just one night it was 2 nights in a row. Aside from that the free drink fountain was down for maintenance and when it did get fixed the coke tasted like water. I’m sure this is not the hotels fault, it just happened. The staff was really nice and helpful. Overall it was an ok stay due to the unruly guests, their kids, and them leaving their doors open and walking in and out like it was their own house.

These were by far the MOST comfortable beds for our entire Japan stay. Super convenient location . Didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t speak to the food . Loved the free mini ice creams by the elevator. Was sad I couldn’t try the public baths because they said no tattoos, but I realize that’s probably like that a lot of places . I was so sore from walking so much I really would have loved to soak sf the end of the day though.

Este hotel es un poco mas tradicional en su decoracion. El personal del hotel es super amable. Las habitaciones son grandes, comodas y tecnologicas. Tienen un Onsen para los inquilinos. Tienen servico de lavanderia. Tienen helado gratis para los huespedes. Queda al lado sur de la estacion de Kyoto 9 minutos caminando precisamente. La ubicacion no me gusto mucho. El nuevo teamLab BioVortex queda cerca a 10 minutos caminando. Pero para el lado norte de la estacion de Kyoto vi mas movimiento mas tiendas y eso.
