"A great overnight hotel"

"This was not what I expected the room had a sink and that was it, the TV buttons didn't work the toilets were like a porto loo cubical and the showers were the same shared with the rest of the corridor. The double bed was a mattress on a solid base and you could feel every spring in it. I have spent better nights camping ."

"Great central Hotel, near everything and a great coffee shop type area. Room was really spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and plenty towels. I would say not great for a disabled person. Lots of stairs but the Hotel has a night life too in the lounge bar area, had a DJ. I would come back as it was handy for the shops and restaurant's. Reception staff were very helpful, after reading reviews I was worried as a few people were very negative online but we didn't see anything to deserve those comments."

"We had a nice stay. We were there two nights and three days. The bed was comfortable and big, which was lovely. The room was a little dated. We were thankful for the floor fan that was provided. The view from our room was gorgeous! The bathroom was small but the water was hot. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had to take the stairs up the last floor which was a little difficult with our luggage. We appreciated the staff. They were very kind and helpful. We were not very impressed with the food in the restaurant. The prices were a little higher than expected. Overall it was a lovely stay."

"The location for Stirling town centre is excellent! The lobby bar and restaurant all look great. The staff at check in were lovely. However We did not like our room it was basic and looked onto a flat roof . There were no bedside tables and only 1 chair to sit on. The bed was in a platform which I tripped off during the night and the floor had squeaky floor boards. Staff were friendly and parking was good at £10 for 24 hours. We never complained to staff about our room as it was only 1 night . I think if we had paid for an upgrade the room may have been better?"

"A terrible hotel to stay at, would not recommend to anyone. My parents and I stayed here last winter and to say it is disgusting and rundown is an understatement. We were put in a room with a broken window that had black tape all around it (still managed to be broken), up above the dumpsters and car park so it was gross and noisy, the shower/bathroom had black mold EVERYWHERE, and the manager and cleaning staff did not care. We complained that night and the front desk staff apologized (he was very kind) and said they were fully booked for some conference and couldn't move rooms, and went to the back room to speak to the manager a few times and then finally said we would get a reduction on the price when we checked out. 30 minutes later he came to our door additionally offering free breakfast the next morning, so we accepted bc why not. The breakfast isn't work a pound, it was very bad. Then on checkout we speak to the manager - same manager that was working the night before and couldn't be bothered to come outside of her office and speak to us right then and there. Says there was a miscommunication and the breakfast was our compensation, and we wouldn't get a reduction because we paid through Expedia. Last I checked you got the money .... so you have the money to provide a refund .... Expedia doesn't hold onto the money indefinitely. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour from a manager, would have been solved if she'd bothered to do her job the night before. 0/10, would not stay."
