The only thing was that the coffee maker in the room had trash in the water container and I didn't feel like using it.It's a difficult place for the cleaning staff to notice.
I don't mind, though, because I can drink coffee at the front desk.」
「It was very nice. Had a reservation , walked in showed reservation number and wad headed to room in about 7 minutes. Only thing I did not like was asked for a 50 dollar room deposit, refundable at check out. I had no prior notice or knowledge , just spring on me at check in. I paid for room in full way in advance, so I'm thinking everything is paid when asked for security deposit. 」

「The food was great. We did 2 tastings. One was the Sommelier Tastings. Matise was wonderful. His wine knowledge and paring with cheese really taught us about the wines. If you do nothing else you must do that tasting. We also did a self guided tasting and fortunately we had the wisdom from our tasting with Matise to help guide us . 「I had some car issues so had to extend my stay indefinitely. Michael and Demi were so kind to me and Cassandra was also very nice. The people who clean the rooms were very considerate of my specific needs. The hotel was very clean and everyone had a smile and said hello. My brother lives in Gainsville and there is no other place I’d stay. 」
「I don’t recall for all the years I’ve been staying in hotels that everything was to my liking. Best experience this far. One very odd thing though ,the restaurant/ bar was close on a Sunday evening please fix it. 4.5 stars because of that one discrepancy. Was out all day decided to take a nap woke up for a light dinner and there was none. The staff was perfect , very helpful and sociable .」
