"We were very impressed with this hotel. It's an historic building that was renovated in 2015. It has been well maintained. The bathroom was smaller than today's standards, but it was in good order. The room was remarkably quiet. What really makes this hotel stand out are all the special touches and the kindness of the staff. We were able to pre-register online. This meant we received our room information in advance and went straight to our room when we arrived at the hotel. The doors have number locks so we used the pin they gave us to enter. The breakfast buffet is amazingly fresh, varied, and delicious. Really enjoyed the CRISP bacon!! The fruit was just excellent! Parking is easy and nearby. Really enjoyed our stay."

"We have been going for many years. They are renovating and still recovering from hurricane 2 years ago. Much needed. Hoping next year will be back to what we have leaned to expect."

"Front desk was very nice and the breakfast buffet was good. The only issue is that it is in the room to the side of the restaurant and they place the plates in the middle of the line so everyone is knocking in to each other. Placement of plates on either end would be more helpful and/or a sign for navigation through the line so people are not bumping in to each other. There needs to be fast replacement of food as well - when we wnet though the line, many of the items were empty or almost empty."

"It's the perfect place for a family on a budget! It's run down but clean. The rooms are nice size with the extra living space. It looks like there is a lot of things to do for kids. It would be very nice to have chairs by the pool, with umbrellas, when you want a break from the sun. The staff was not very friendly. The beach is beautiful and that is what we came for but for a couple, we won't be returning."

"Nicely update room. We stayed in the 1 king bed suite, had a double balcony on the top floor. Great beach views, good amenities, easy access to the beach and other restaurants in the area. They are building a new pool/bar/restaurant and that didnt even bother us, nice they are upgrading on the beach."
