「This place is a hidden gem, I really enjoyed this little family getaway. Each yurt has a stove, a campfire come bbq outside our yurt. Your own parking space. Your own bathroom. A communal shower and a communal kitchen with your own press equipped with all you need for cooking and dining. And your own space in the communal frigde. The beach is a 15 minute walk. A shop and pub close by too. And fota wildlife is a 25 min drive. Lots of things to do around the site for kids too. There's animals on...

「On our first trip to Ireland, trying to see as much as we could in less than a month, we somehow managed to wind up here for a week, and how very fortuitous we were. The house is comfortable, thoughtfully designed and furnished, worthy in itself of a 10-star rating, but that hardly begins to tell the story. The setting is fairytale enchanting, beyond all expectation, and our hosts Mary and Des, anticipated our every need and question, and regaled with us with Irish lore and funny stories....

「We had a fantastic time at Winchmore Hill House. We had 2 families and the house was the perfect size for our large group - not too small and not too big. The large group would usually congregate in the kitchen/dining area which worked great especailly w/ the easy access to the patio. We visited many towns on our daily tours but were glad that we picked Kenmare as our base as again it was the perfect Goldilocks fit small and quaint but still plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.」

「This was a 3-generation family gathering, so 10 adults (20-70), 2 teens, and 3 children (11, 9, 3). There are two excellent gathering spaces, one big enough to accommodate all 15 comfortably when necessary--and we squeezed 15 around the table for some meals--and a smaller room with a large TV, which we designated as the devices room in order to keep the larger room device-free. Communication with the owner was quick and always helpful. We slept comfortably. The grounds are beautiful and...
