「This is an almost 300 year old home that feels like a grandmother’s hug. It’s rather out of the way, so make sure you check the map and driving times, but if you’re okay with the location, you should definitely stay here. 「A family friendly old farmhouse which suited our 8 family members, aged from 3 to quite a bit older. Beautifully secluded with plenty of ground around the house and acres of exploring along the lake shore. We were there at the end of March and the weather was cool and blustery, though we didn't have much rain. Only a 5 minute drive to the lovely beach at Ballyhiernan Bay.
