「The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. 」

「Street address, postal code, and apt. name were completely different on expedia versus what we ended up with, which made for a very prolonged and upsetting check-in process, with the host threatening to cancel the booking (and let us sleep under the sun) if we don't show up at the confusing address by 9pm. Once we were set in, the host became nice all of a sudden! The apt. is bigger than a typical studio, in a good location (20min walking distance to old downtown, 1 minute walk to seaside...

「The cottage and facillities were perfect, we stayed as a family of four, children aged 10 and 13. We loved the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. Gerry was the perfect host, the eggs and chickens were great. We were even fortunate enough to watch him tend to his bees. There is loads to do within a short drive from the location and the countryside itself is stunning. Cant wait to go again!」
