This place was a hit with my group of friends who were looking for a clean, well priced, central place to stay in Galway City during the busy Arts Festival.
It was more stylish than expected, with very good communal areas.
Property was impeccable and clean, staff is super helpful. Community kitchen, gym and common rooms as advertised, all well stocked. Well to visit most of Galway.
The property was in the heart of Galway, with all the restaurants and bars nearby. There was no onsite parking, but the car park at Eyre Square was only a two minutes walk, as advertised,
Rooms are small but nice. Bathroom was beautiful and very clean. The bed was not the most comfortable, more springs then cushion. Besides that location was perfect. Right by the train station and few mins from all the popular things in Galway. Also each section on each floor had a shared section to cook and relax if needed. Nice touch.

Liked: Cleanliness
This student accommodation has just opened. Everything is new and there is still construction dust which will take time to clear. Rooms are compact, with not much ventilation as some rooms have windows that open slightly facing buildings and others with aircons with windows that don’t open. It is close to Eyre square, shopping outlets, public transport to and from the airport with both bus and train stations within a 7 min walk. Good for a few days of budget travel.
Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The room has no air circulation and no fan for hotter days. We had to keep the window open to get air but then it was light in the room and the birds don't stop so we got very little sleep. No tv. Only 2 pillows would've liked to have 2 more. The lobby was nice though. These are reasons I rated it so low. More for younger crowd who just need a bed to sleep in and could pass out anywhere.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
It was definitely designed for wheelchair bound people. It was extremely accessible. It was brand new and clean. Safe. Downside, it’s like a prison. You have to scan your key every five feet with a new door. No tv. Only one pillow. No table in bathroom to put your stuff as well as it’s an open shower nonsense where the water just goes everywhere. It literally flooded out of the bathroom into the room at one point. No lid on toilet. No parking anywhere close. Hint; park at the train station. It’s a solid no frills stay.
The location is ideal to take the 9:00 am bus to Rossaveel then a ferry to the Aran Islands. The train station to Dublin is a walking distance, too.
The hotel is safe for solo travelers. I used the room card to open two doors before I reached my room. Strong fire safe doors are also noticeable.
The lobby has plenty of lounging areas with phone chargers and a game room.
Great location and parking lot close by (not included but discount. Discount offered for parking at check in was smaller than advertised). Small bed. Couldn’t get the AC to work as it required a password. Weird that shampoo needed to be picked up downstairs in the lobby

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
A few items: They double booked me for two rooms. Th
ere was no place to put luggage. HAd to leave it open on the floor. A luggage rack would bee nice. The first room was too small. No space for two people traveling. They upgraded us to a handicapped accessible room with more room. However, the shower design made the water run onto the floor and out of the bathroom into the hallway. We cleaned it up with our towels and had to order more. When they delivered the towels, they did not take away the old wet ones. Lastly, there were only two pillows and no bed sheets. I will not recommend them.

Had difficult time connecting to WiFi never happened. Is hotel blocking phone services. Because could not us most of my communication apps. The morning I left my phone chirped into action and a host of messages emails etc came thru. So if it worked outside the hotel why not inside.
Won’t stay here again. Bed was lumpy and room stuffy. Even with window open
Everything was very nice and clean in a good central area in Galway. The only issue was that there was no AC in the room so it was very hot while I stayed there. Otherwise very nice.
