The host was kind enough to work with us on the checkout times due to come complicated travel issues with our flight and cruise.The home was clean and in a good neighborhood. We were in walking distance of the Ikebukuro entertainment district and the subway station. It was a great way to travel throughout Tokyo and then return to comfortable quiet lodging.We're grateful for the great air conditioning this time of year in Japan!Traveling...

The house was less then 5 minutes walking to a wonderful grocery store, 8 minutes to the train, and so many things to see walking around the neighborhood. It is quiet and no other tourist. Our morning walks around the neighborhood were wonderful. If we come back to Tokyo, I would stay again."

"We spent a month in this home, allowing us to 'go slow' and really immerse ourselves in Tokyo with our two primary school-aged children. Best points:- the river is beautiful: lots of opportunities for carp spotting and scenic walks. - all basics are nearby (supermarket, convenience store etc...)- choice of two local train stations (Oji and Itabashi) to get into Tokyo city, plus a busThings to consider:- this isn't the 'hip' part of town, but is great for families. - trains are 15 min walk away,...
