「Travelled from Lancashire on the Friday and stayed until the Monday we were received with a welcome despite arriving late shown to our rooms which were very basic but comfortable. Only criticism no one replenished anything whilst we were there including toilet roll teabags et cetera however I’m sure if we have asked we would’ve got them.
Breakfast was phenomenal lots of choice cooked to perfection to order plenty of juice, cereals, fresh fruit, and yoghurt.
Stuff very friendly and welcoming....
「Lovely, quiet B&B on a farm. Location is remote, which made it a peaceful stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and a strong wi-fi signal.
The owner recommended a local pub, which was a 10-minute drive away. The food and beer were excellent! Breakfast the next morning was superb. The host was very helpful throughout.」

「We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon! 」
「My husband & I had to travel from the other end of the country to visit an elderly relative in the nearby hospital, and needed a reasonably-priced last-minute room for 2 nights. This fitted the bill perfectly, and I knew we'd made the right choice when I spoke to the Manager. What a lovely guy: friendly, honest, helpful, straightforward, and so easy to deal with. Many hotel managers could take a lesson from him.
The hotel has only recently been bought by the present owners and needs...
