"Low season so place was almost empty which is a shame. I had a brilliant stay, room was spotlessly clean and very roomy and comfy. Very cosy. Smashing meal (recommend the curries), nice chat with Abi the owner, smashing chap, nothing too much trouble, same for the staff. I’ll be staying again, highly recommended and wonderful value for money. Oh and don’t pay for parking like I did, it’s free!!"

"We were attending a wedding in Guisborough and the owner very kindly let us leave our bags at the property before check in time. The place was ideally located in the centre and was lovely and clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would definately recommend this property. "

"We didn’t stay in this property ,it was booked for the first night ,in error by your company. The alternate cottage was nearby , still being renovated. Internet didn’t work (got fixed) shower didn’t work & was unable to be fixed . The bathroom area still needs work "

"The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."
