Amsterdam Castle

10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean and the staff were very nice."

Crowne Plaza Albany - The Desmond Hotel by IHG

8/10 Good

"I thought that the pay per coffee cup per use in the lobby was a little odd. I have never seen that before. Usually, it’s free. Also, Pay for Breakfast was good, but strawberry banana yogurt smoothie was very thin. Almost like they forgot the yogurt. Probably won’t happen to you, but alarm clock in the room went off at 6 AM. And not by my settings. I guess I learned the hard way. Unplug the clock in the future. The maids routinely don’t check the alarm blocks. Otherwise pleasant sleeping conditions. I asked for an inside facing room so i don’t hear the highway. The workout exercise room close at 9 PM. Thought that was a little early."
