"Room was huge! Super easy to access with codes for the building and room provided 24 hours ahead of arrival. Available laundry in the room helped us immensely half way through our two week trip. Great location next to JR Nara Station especially since we took the train to Uji for the day. Also being located next to Sanjo-Dori street made for tons to do in the evening, easy and great food spots, and a straight route to walk to Nara Park. Unfortunately the guests above us were incredibly noisy for our last two nights, late into the evening, despite notices from the property asking for quiet time between 10pm and 6am. I reached out to the property and although they weren’t able to assist in real time, they responded promptly the next morning letting us know they had already talked to the other guests and offered to move us rooms to help. We were checking out but the offer was kind and appreciated. I would highly recommend this as an option if you’re headed to Nara and/or Uji. We would absolutely stay again! "

"Escaping from daily busy life. From the beginning the hospitality was warming and excellent. The front desk lady super duper nice, showed us the facility, amenities and genuinely happy to have us the onsen/ryokan experience. The bath house was nice and clean. The room with the view of the city was just spectacular a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. i highly recommended this to get away from the hustle and bustle of OSAKA."

"I will start by saying I normally find premium brands of hotel chains not great value for price. But not the JW Marriott Nara! From the minute we checked in the service and hospitality was tremendous. Even the smell of the hotel was unique and comforting. One of my travel partners bought some of their air “therapy” to take home. Our room was luxurious without being over the top. Amenities like sauna, jacuzzi and pool felt like we were in a high end resort somewhere. The breakfast was fresh with a lot of variety. And lets say the foam “baby deer” on our coffee had my wife wanting to take the barista home. The bar was well stocked and wine choice excellent. A little pricey, but expected. I would highly recommend you stay here when in Nara. We will certainly return! "
