"The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. "I recently had a 3 night stay. The hotel was clean and neat. The staff were very friendly. The food and service at the restaurant were excellent. The trolley service to and from Newport was a god send, drivers Gene and Mike where very knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and see. The only cons were; there was no safe in the room, so when I went to the pool in the afternoon I had to take my purse with me. The lack of dresser draws was inconvenient and the general lack of privacy in the bathroom with the barn doors that don’t lock. The lack of a shower curtain had the bathroom floor getting all wet which is a safety issue. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again myself."

"Pool was awesome. Hotel was clean and new. Staff was accommodating. Only down side was our room had 2 queen beds , and honestly they felt more like fulls. My wife and I gave up and just slept in different beds. Location was great. 20 dollar Uber to Newport. All the fun without any of the parking stress or hassle."
