Very nice place. Staff was very nice and it does look like they maybe renovating. For the most part our room was very clean but the first night we noticed sand on the floor. Day 2 after talking to the front desk it was super clean. We liked out little private balcony. We will stay again.

Great location!! Rooms were clean however the balcony and patio areas extremely run down. No amenities available. Lady working front desk not pleasant but male was super nice. Worth the money for location but not much else. It’s a shame as there is so much potential here if they fixed up the outside areas and hired friendly staff.

The staff were very nice and tried hard to please . Room linens were so fresh smelling and clean. We did enjoy our stay for a week. It was affordable. The location was beautiful and so walkable. Breakfast next door. Dinners at coast guard house right across street. Beach across street. Bring your own beach chair. Celeste restaurant next door very good too. A good vacation end of June.

Severly needs updating. Paint peeling, unfinished cabinetry, pool closed, ice maker broken, only 1 front door worked, musty smell and overpriced. Coffee cream is hard to find and no housekeeping at all unless asked.second floor deck looked like a hurricane just passed through.

Our TV did not work the entire time we stayed at the hotel. We had to go to the front desk for ice. There could have been more towels left in the room - there were 2 large towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. They were understaffed, but the staff that was there were helpful and very pleasant. I actually felt bad for them because they seemed to be stretched in a million different directions. The room itself was clean and comfortable. If it wasn't for the TV and the ice, I would give them a 5-star review.

Great location, nice helpful staff. Easy parking. The rooms are decent and comparable to the other hotels in the area. Maintenance of the property could be better overall. It seems to always be under construction. And if the pool has been closed for three years, then it's not closed for renovations - it's closed for demolition (eventually!).

The rooms were clean- and the location was good. But, the property was dated and the pool was not open although it is advertised as having an indoor all year round pool. I realize it was an off season stay - but, perhaps it should have been noted that the pool is not yet open.

Our stay at Aqua Blue to was both disappointing and underwhelming. Firstly, Aqua Blue needs some serious upgrades and they need to be more accommodating to make up for it. When booking they failed to mention that their pool was out of service. They attempted to remedy the situation by boasting about the beach ( across the street ) but did not provide complementary passes. Our room had an outdated box unit air conditioner, it was loud and ineffective at keeping the room cool. Secondly, the bathroom door did not close completely. I will not be recommending this hotel.

Our room was nice and clean, roomy with a balcony. Beds were very comfortable. The shower was great. After booking the room using Expedia, I received an email from hotel saying they were under construction (painting) and that the pool was closed. Would have been nice to know in advance. Upon checking in, we found out that the restaurant was also closed until maybe August. The deck on the second floor is open, but the broken wooden railing around it has yellow crime scene tape wrap around it. The cushions are in need of an update. We sat out there regardless and enjoyed the ocean view and sunrises. Staff was accommodating, courteous and also suggested restaurants/cafes nearby. The staff also needed to get the ice for you with your room's bucket; you could not get it yourself. Kind of a pain... We saw some construction workers but never heard them. Picked the hotel being it was within walking distance to Narragansett Beach. All in all, we enjoyed our 2-night quick getaway, beach time, and local food.

Due to construction the pool and restaurant were both closed. Auto doors not working. Paint chipping, musty smell in room and hallways, very few other guests. It was very disappointing to say the least.
