「Clean, big room」

「We have stayed here many times. We just heard this property was sold about 4 months ago and are expecting to renovate sometime soon. The room we had overnight had a terrible smell that you didn’t notice as you walked in but strengthened gradually and then just became overwhelming. I had a room freshener spray which I had to continually use as the smell came back when the air freshener wore off. It smelled like someone’s stinky feet and could make you gag. 「My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The lobby had a strong odor, and the front desk receptionist did not acknowledge me because he was on a personal call. 「I booked my room, got there and was told that there are no rooms left due to “no cleaning staff” and that it is ok because they didn’t charge my card yet. The next day I find that they charged my card anyway! The lady who checked me in was very dismissive as well!!」
