"Good points: The location is excellent—very close to the valley entrance. The lodge sits right on the riverbank, and the experience of sitting on the balcony and watching the river is truly relaxing and enjoyable. There are two on-site restaurants, one serving American/Italian cuisine and the other a pizza shop. Both are decent, at least above average. There is also a convenience store where you can buy essentials, including beer, wine, and spirits. Bad points: This is not a high-end or upscale property. The building is quite old and has more of a motel-like feel. The rooms often have an unpleasant smell, and overall maintenance outside the rooms is just average. Considering the price—often around $500 per night—the property does not feel like it offers good value."
