「We stayed 3 nights, and had a great time. Everything was as described in the listing. The sun porch was nice, and really loved the coffee bar. We stayed when it was very warm for this time of year and the upstairs window air conditioner was a life (sleep) saver! Don't hesitate to book this property.」

「I was kind of nervous about booking a place with little to no reviews. Pulling up to the house you’re not expecting much as the outside and yard it a little run down. The inside was clean and updated. Location was super convenient for checking out the state park and there’s a nice beach right down the street. Only other downside is the trains right across the street. Everything you need for a weekend of exploring. Kids had a great time. I would recommend this place to anyone.」

「Love watching deer come out every evening. Minimal utensils in kitchen bought steak knives and left them for next guest. If you are physically fit at age 64 then OKAY. however, tub is very high set and NO grab bars. Did not know about Cedar Rapids water, took a trip to Wal-Mart to buy water for drinking and cooking. Other than that, loved the week we stayed centrally located for all of our adventures.」

「We came in for the weekend UTVing around the Harpers Ferry area. This house accommodated our needs for our group. Overlooking the Mississippi River and seeing a few barges go through was neat to see.」

「Upon arrival key code to get into door did not work nor throughout our entire stay! We emailed the host and hostess and rang the “ring” at front door never heard from them. We ended up picking the lock on another door to get in and found the directory with a phone number but once again no answer and was unable to leave a message…. We received a message the next day to see how our stay was going, so we sent them a message once again and no answer from them. We went through a huge can of wasp...

「Josh was a great host and easy to reach. The place is just as described. Easy to access, convenient with what we needed. Josh even stocked a few snacks. Which was thoughtful. My only wish was for an AC unit in the living room, as it is a bit warm being on the second floor, but he did have a fan. Which did help. Thanks for opening up your home to us.」
