Waverly seems to be a nice town - but we didn't stay long. We came to attend a sporting event at Wartburg College. The college's facilities are very nice. Hotel was fine; fit our needs.

"We were awestruck when we opened the door! Beautiful decor and directly on the river with great views of the water. Host was very attentive and we had everything we could possibly need.Highly recommend staying here if you are in the Waverly area!"

We went to a nice restaurant called Sasquatch Jacks and had very good food and very good service. We also went to a bar called the Pour House that was very welcoming, had beautiful artwork on the walls and a half of a car worked into the art.

I was there for a funeral at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. I like Waverly, and Wartburg College.
