「The cottage was great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the (non-perishable) things you need for cooking. The location was great and the large driveway was perfect for our boat trailer. The only thing to note is you have to walk through a bedroom (which we didn’t need) to get to the 2nd bathroom and back bedroom. Not a big deal for us but something to keep in mind. Everything was clean and Beau was very easy to communicate with.」

「Great location, my husband walked downtown to shop and eat. Where in town for kite fest but was cancelled due to ice conditions, but if it hadn’t been you would have been able to see some of the action from the house and a great view from the primary bedroom. Very cozy and clean. It was a great relaxing weekend. 」

「What a Joy to stay in this wonderful home! 4 sisters-in-law from the Northwest corner of Iowa traveled to Tulip Time! It was so nice to have such a welcoming home to come to. We had a wonderful stay! was wonderful to sit on the patio in the evening and enjoy the nice weather. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. 「This property is perfect for a large group or family & has everything you need! The kitchen island is huge and made our gathering so comfortable. We loved having the shuffleboard table & huge sectional couch in the rec room. The proximity to the lake made for great fishing, & many family members made full use of the hammock in the yard. 「Rarely do I give a perfect rating but this one is it. The cottage is incredible. Situated on a quiet hilltop overlooking the valley below you are in a world by yourself. The cottage is true to the FLW inspiration down to the tiny details. Joe and Kelly were fabulous hosts and have outfitted the property with top notch furnishings. It’s close enough to Dubuque and Galena to make easy trips to sight see but isolated enough to disappear and reset. If you are looking for a quiet getaway to reset...
