「An era is about to end as Barbara closes the doors on October 7, 2025. This was a wonderful experience, made so by Barbara and her family and the other guests. The house, over 100 yrs old, is feeling its age but still has much to offer, with antiques and many stories of happy guests. We had a delightful time and a fabulous breakfast before we left.」

They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. 「Lily Pad #1 was impressive. The revitalization of the space was very tastefully done. It created a spark to do the same for several of the other structures in the area that just need a lift up. Some more than others, but they are ALL worth saving! The area could have so much potential! I just wish I were younger to take on some of the projects myself!
