"This hotel was very nice. It's new, and therefore, very clean and in great condition. We arrived on a Thursday and after a long travel day were delighted to find that they were having a happy hour with complimentary drinks and snacks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful- especially Gigi. The only downside was that the bedding and towels felt a little cheap, and not very plush or comfortable. Otherwise, I have no complaints for a weekend stay."

"Excellent location, you can walk to almost any prime dinner location in downtown Columbia. Beds are small in a double, but plenty of clean towels. Staff is very nice a helpful. Biggest disappointment is the parking, $33/day is outrageous. Also the"rooftop" bar is completely enclosed and not as advertised."

"Pool could use a refresh. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Biggest complaint is the way the room is set up and the total lack of hooks/towel rack to hang towels. The frosted glass on both the bathroom and shower doors face the beds. Because it is frosted glass versus a wood door, if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or get up earlier than the rest of your party, the light shines right into the eyes of those who are still sleeping. Whoever designed this layout/material use should never be hired again. Also, how does a room that sleeps 6 (2 queens and a double pull out sofa) only have one hook to hang your towels in the bathroom? Really doesn’t give people an option to reused towels if they can’t hang them to dry after use. Again poor planning"

"The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was fine, comfortable and well stocked. The breakfast area was kept clean and the selection was appreciated. They struggled with keeping the coffee full and many people were waiting quite awhile for it to be restocked. I also was turned off by paying for parking when they had their own private lot. Seemed like a way to just make a few more dollars instead of including it as amenity."
