「What a surprise we found at the Athenaeum, a grand hotel from the 19th century, on beautiful Lake Chatauqua. On arrival, we found ourselves entering a gated community spread along the lake shore, with wonderful 19th and 20th century summer homes, within walking distance of the hotel. 「Pet friendly. Plenty of outdoor space to walk him. Absolutely loved the outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs and split wood. Perfect for us. Close to the beach, dining, light house, wineries and sight seeing. We were here in the fall and will definitely come back in the summer.」
