Absolutely beautiful little guesthouse overlooking Knysna's harbor. Very spacious and comfortable room with free coffee, water, and a very nice bed. Opportunity to have breakfast on our balcony overlooking the water, which was amazing. Overall, could not recommend more!

I was very happy to stay at the Capetonian. The staff is very helpful and professional. I had a noisy room because of some work in the area and they changed right away. The breakfast is very good. But the dinner needs more vegetables and fruits. Thank you to all the staff. Luke at the reception is great.

Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well. Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...
