「Even though the hotel isn’t the newest in town, it is nicely updated, clean and in very good condition. The full breakfast was delicious every day. There was always fresh coffee in the lobby. The staff was very attentive to the requests we had… extra towels, tissue, etc. We’d stay here again!」

「Older motel on beautiful grounds, with a view of the mountains beyond. Not being golfers, we nevertheless enjoyed watching the golf scene right out our patio windows. The room was spacious, but the beds are on the hard side and I had a sore back in the morning. The bathroom was ok and also needs updating and some deep grout cleaning. There was a noisy portable dehumidifier in the room that we should have unplugged at night. But all in all we had a pleasant experience.」

「Everything we needed for our stay was there. Kitchen was spotless. Bathrooms were spotless. 」

「Host is a very nice and interesting to talk to. Farm had neat things to look at. Very quiet and relaxing. Didn't know we had to tell them we wanted breakfast ahead of time so we missed out on the breakfast both days. I don't know if that was communicated to me or not. 」

「So very clean and packed with Virginia memorabilia, this VRBO is wonderful step back in time. One of most beautiful porches we have ever sipped coffee on, with a breath taking view of the valley below and blue ridges in the distance. This will be top of our list for accommodations whenever we are in the Charlottesville area.」

「Beautiful view, with golf course and a nice creek right behind us. All expected necessities were provided. Check in and out was really easy. Good bbq and picnic area, which we had no problem utilizing.」

「We had an amazing time and my train obsessed 2 year old LOVED that the trains were across the street! They even have a train museum and large model train across the street. There’s an adorable little icecream spot around the corner we walked to and had a blast. The bed was comfy, the studio was super clean and welcoming and it perfectly suited our needs for the weekend. We had a blast at elkton brewing, enjoyed some fresh pizza, local trails and hiked some larger trails on our way out of town....

「We had a great time staying at the Squirrel’s Nest. The location is secluded but still only 15 minutes away from Shenandoah. The cabin was warm & cozy and a perfect escape from everyday life. Hot tub was a plus!」
