"This hotel is in dire need of a facelift. The furniture in my room featured chairs with peeling leatherette and the lighting was low power. The worse was the staff. The gentleman who checked me in was nice and polite, and when I asked for a late check out, he said no problem and said I had to check out by 2pm. This was perfect. However at 8:30AM, the phone rings and this shrill woman says we must vacate by 1pm. First off, thanks for waking up the whole family at 8:30am. Second, it’s not our fault the first staff member gave us a late check out. If she had simply called at a DECENT TIME and politely explained everything, this would have been fine. She was rude and unprofessional. I am unsure why she is in the hospitality business. "

"We only stayed one night. The staff was professional and helpful. But some things were lacking. The staff was not ABC licensed to serve liquor, beer and wine was the only option. The coffee pot in the lobby was broken. We had to rely on the instant packets in our room which did not fit the hot water pitcher. The staff was able to find different coffee packs but the coffee was terrible. Valet worked fine. Room was comfortable but small and the TV was maybe 32" we didnt use it. Our room was very close to the sidewalk and that made it a bit uncomfortable with curtains having to be drawn for privacy. I expected a bit more. It is not a traditional big chain hotel experience but more of a boutique."
