"I would have given it a 5 stars but unfortunately we got locked out of our unit about 3 times during our stay due to faulty and sensitive keys. Staff was helpful and security came all times quite quickly but the manager did insist it wasn’t their fault and likely user error which I wasn’t thrilled about. The least they could do is apologize for the inconvenience and offer alternatives to guarantee it wouldn’t happen again."

"We had a great week in the mountains. The house had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, and even spices!The bed was very comfy, too. We enjoyed the deck with the grill just outside of the kitchen, and was very convenient when making meals. We had a few rainy days, but enjoyed lounging on the couch watching movies, and we put a puzzle together, too!It was just the two of us staying here, but this is a great house for families to enjoy!"

"Initial impression: Property is exactly as described. We appreciated the gated porch and fenced-in yard for our dog, who is blind. We enjoyed the hot tub, but it was over-filled when we arrived. It has 4 seats but appears to prefer a water level that is better suited to 2 people.The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the living room is comfortable. The kitchen was in a bit of disarray - things were not in their labeled drawers/cabinets, but we found everything we needed with a little rummaging. It looked like the cleaners had sprayed cleaner on the appliances, but hadn't wiped them down. We found cleaner in the cabinet and wiped things down ourselves. It very much seemed like common areas received just a surface clean between guests, but the bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean. The only bedroom complaint is that the downstairs master suite had 2 air fresheners set on their highest setting when we arrived and the scent was overpowering. Also, there is a dehumidifier in the basement suite that needs to be regularly emptied that wasn't mentioned by the owners.Overall, we enjoyed hanging out here in the evenings and really liked all the windows in the living room. The kids enjoyed the game room, and everyone liked trying out the massage chair. The house is comfortable, and it was easy to confine our blind dog to the first floor for her safety while we were out. I believe her favorite part was lying on the cool tiles and the enclosed porch :)"

Heart of Massanutten Mountain Views, Pool & Summer Fun for the Whole Family

"I highly recommend this Massanutten vacation rental (10/10)! Our hosts, Mary and Chris, communicated beautifully and made the check-in process incredibly smooth, quick, and easy. The property's decor and aesthetics are gorgeous, and we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out by the outdoor fire pit. You can even see the new rollercoaster at the Massanutten Family Adventure Park right from the back balcony! Just a quick tip for future guests: the property is high up on the mountain, so be prepared for your ears to pop on the drive to and from the property, but the incredible views and location are entirely worth it."

"Beautiful, clean home. The pool of course was a huge hit with our family and its big and clean. I really liked how much was supplied, having soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, towels, etc on hand is so nice and appreciated because it’s one less thing we have to pack! Host was very friendly and communicated quickly. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of room for our family. The beds were comfortable and great layouts. Would definitely rent again!"

Massanutten Cabin - Hot Tub, Pool Table, Large Yard, billiards room

"This house was above and beyond what we expected. The house was clean and very well kept. Check in was so easy and house was very nice. One unexpected thing was the upstairs room with pool table had a couch, loveseat and chair that was not shown in the photos. That was a nice surprise as my wife has trouble with stairs so we were able to use that room. The back deck is so nice and peaceful. Enjoyed mornings with coffee our there each morning. We will hopefully be back on day to enjoy this house."
