「It is true that this hotel is not close to the loud train station noise. However, our room on the 2nd floor faced the street there were loud, yelling, presumably drunk people out there ALL NIGHT. This wouldn't have bothered me 30 year ago. Hell, I would have been one of them. But when you want to go to bed at 9:00 pm so that you can get up at 4:00 am to climb Machu Picchu, this place is NOT what you want. Also, I'm assuming because it's a budget place, there were young people staying there...
