「So excited to snag a room at this lodge inside the Mess Verde National Park. The views are amazing. Nice, basic accommodations. The lounge has an outside seating area perfect for enjoying drinks and the views. The restaurant also has great views to go with delicious meals. The trout was amazing. Our server,Brian, did an exceptional job because they were short staffed. This was Oct 2 and the govt shut down had closed the park. We were still able to drive the park and take in the views. 「Location was not far from town, only a couple minutes drive. It was so quiet and loved watching the hummingbirds! Had a difficult time with the shower so had to skip it. Temperature dropped quick but owners let us know beforehand there were electric blankets too! Overall, we had a great stay. 」
