「Very nice and relaxing stay」

「Our stay at Skyline Lodge was terrific … the Frank Lloyd Wright motel has been perfectly preserved with a sense of detail, simply beautiful … nestled in nature with hiking nearby and very convenient to downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Oak Steakhouse was amazing, wonderful atmosphere, service and delicious food! We’re definitely going back!!!」

「The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

「Cool place, nice atmosphere short walk to the center of Highlands reasonably priced comfortable rooms and quiet」

「It was clean, quiet and conveniently located. On the downside, the USB outlets were not powered up and the one lounge chair was big enough to hold a 300 lb individual but not comfortable for someone half that size. Also, being connected with the Hilton Chain the entire property could use a major remodel.」

「This is a beautiful property and so dog friendly! I loved it!」

「Good stay but too few electrical outlets」

「Very good for a decent night's sleep.」

「There was mold everywhere smelled terrible」

「Nice and clean, the staff were very sweet and considerate. I slept like a baby. So peaceful.」

「Beautiful property in the mountains! Tim, the innkeeper, was amazing. Would visit again!」

「All good things to say about these little cabins.」

「We had never stayed in a yurt before and were pleasantly surprised about how nice and spacious everything is. The yurt itself is so fun and immaculate, it had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, just far enough off the beaten path but close to restaurants, beautiful Nantahala lake and the NOC. The creek beside the house was wonderful for fishing and just sitting and listening. We used the hot tub several times and it was clean and well maintained. Beds are very comfy as...

「Best place ever, the view is amazing the cabin is beautiful. 」

「This is our new favorite vacation rental in the mountains. Very quiet except for the tranquil noise of the gorgeous creek that will put you to sleep. Peaceful, clean plenty of places to explore or cook your own meals. Host was very responsive.」

「The host cares a lot about the guests experience. She wants to make sure you have the best experience possible and has great hospitality. We definitely had an amazing time here and it was such a unique stay.」
