The Owl's Perch - Backwoods glamping cabin over amazing creek

If you're wanting to get away from urban life and drive to the backwoods, we'd love to host you in our 200 sq ft treehouse-like one room glamping cabin, attached to our back deck (we live here).

View the prettiest creek off your private deck! Furnished to make simple meals or on the propane grill. 5" vehicle road clearance needed, not 4WD, for uneven gravel/dirt lane with potholes. NOT suitable for motorcycles. 2 miles from paved road. Venomous snakes and wild animals are indigenous to our area. No charging EV batteries. Use ONLY our directions and you'll enjoy the adventure getting here!

Amazing place and great hosts

We went to stay one night at this beautiful cabin and it was better than advertised. Sounds from the creek was so soothing. We had a relaxing experience and Alice was great in giving us the directions and making us feel home once we got there. Peaceful by the creek

It was delightful to sit above the creek reading and then to fall asleep to the sound if the water. Cabin small but cozy and immaculate with everything you need. Doug and Alice are wonderful hosts making you feel comfortable during your stay.

Amazing view

It’s a cozy room for two! They thought of everything you might need while there. The drive back to the perch is adventurous but worth all the wonderful nature you get to see! The hosts are delightful and make you feel like long time friends!

2 Days of Tranquility

We spent two days at the Perched Owl and sank into the coziness of the one room suite and found some peace sitting on the private deck listening and observing the river from above. It was a very grounding experience as there isn’t WiFi available and zero service in the area which helped eliminate any distractions. Alice was a great host, very friendly and welcoming and we can’t wait to spend a few more days after spring.
