Perfect place to stay for our fall hiking trip. The sunset views from the hot tub were beautiful, and we enjoyed grilling out on the deck. There are other cabins nearby, but we couldn’t see or hear them so it felt very private.
John was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.
A few things to note before you book:
- We don’t have 4WD, just a crossover with front wheel drive. We made it up the mountain thanks to Sport mode, but I would still recommend 4WD, especially if there are slick leaves on the road in the fall/winter.
- The yard area with the fire pit below the house is a steep trek. If you have mobility issues, it may not be accessible.
- We did see some harmless bugs (a small cricket, some lady bugs) but the house had recently been sprayed and it was nothing out of the ordinary for a cabin in the woods.
Overall, a great find. We’ll be back!
