「I love this place, it was so nice, quiet and peaceful. The remodeling of the Inn was spot on it kept the charm of the original Inn and the grounds were beautiful. The innkeeper Tim was an excellent host. We even got to meet the owner. If you are looking for a romantic get away or just simple low key charm this is a gem found in a remote lovely location in North Carolina. We will defiantly be back.」

「Pleasantly surprised! The site I booked from didn’t show pics, but we were down to the wire for a last minute getaway so I grabbed it for the price. We travel often & this was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed! The entire HOTEL was FRAGRANCE & OVERBEARING CHEMICAL FREE!!! Praise the Lord! 「My room was clean and quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Parking was plentiful and close to my room. Unfortunately the Wi Fi was out the entire four days of my stay; at least, I couldn’t get the TV to work. I also wish they had hand towels to use by the sink. They only supply small bath towels and wash clothes. Overall this is an acceptable budget stay.」

「Staff was very nice and helpful. Stay was not what I expected for the price. Commode lid was extremely loose, chair cushion was very sticky so, I turned the cushion over to the other side and it was filthy with gobs of hair etc. I had to put a pillowcase on the cushion to sit in the chair. The water valve in the bathroom sink was missing the handle that changes water from hot to cold was missing. Items were reported upon checkout so, hopefully the next guest won’t have those problems.」

「This is an "ok" place to stay. The rooms are clean but there are absolutely no amenities. There were electrical problems in our room and they did not turn on the AC prior to our arrival. With temps in the 90s it took quite a while for our room to cool.down. The view was the best part of our stay.」

「I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights with a friend of mine. It was a perfect base for us to explore the nearby mountain roads for daily drives, such as the Tail of the Dragon. Bill was super friendly at the front desk and gave us helpful tips such as a hike to a nearby amazing waterfall.
